Camp Social Explorers is a structured summer education and enrichment program developed for individuals who benefit from additional support with learning, communication, social development, executive functioning, behavioral support, or structured environments.
Individuals participate in engaging camp experiences while receiving individualized supports, accommodations, and guided instruction designed to build confidence, independence, participation, social connections, and important life skills all within a fun, supportive, and engaging summer camp environment.
The program provides a small-group educational environment that combines:
Structured learning opportunities
Social development
Communication support
Executive functioning skill-building
Hands-on enrichment activities
Guided peer interaction
Instruction is delivered by:
Trained ABA therapists (RBTs/BCBAs)

Camp Social Explorers is a fun, structured summer program designed for individuals who benefit from extra support, smaller group settings, hands-on learning, and opportunities to build confidence and independence.
Our camp combines summer fun with meaningful learning experiences through social activities, creative projects, STEM/STEAM exploration, movement activities, and structured peer interaction — all within a supportive environment designed to help campers grow and thrive.

Our goal is to create a summer experience where individuals can have fun, explore new interests, build meaningful connections, and continue developing important life skills in an engaging and supportive environment.
Evidence-Based Instructional Methods
Camp Social Explorers utilizes evidence-based practices from Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), special education, and developmental psychology:
Task Analysis: Complex activities are broken into manageable steps with visual supports
Prompting Hierarchy: Staff use least-to-most prompting (visual, gestural, verbal, physical) based on individual needs
Positive Reinforcement: Desired behaviors and skill attempts are reinforced through praise, tokens, and preferred activities
Visual Supports: Schedules, choice boards, social stories, and visual timers support comprehension and transitions
Naturalistic Teaching: Skills are taught in the context of play and functional activities to promote generalization
Peer-Mediated Learning: Peer models and siblings facilitate social learning opportunities
Errorless Learning: Activities are designed to promote success and minimize frustration
Data Collection: Staff document participation, skill demonstrations, and behavioral observations
Program Information & Pricing
Support needs are reviewed individually through the intake/application process.
$395 per weekDiscounted full summer enrollment rate: $375 per week
Camp Only
This option is for students attending camp enrichment activities without ABA therapeutic support.
$275 per weekDiscounted full summer enrollment rate: $250 per weekABA support is billed separately
Camp + ABA Support
This option is for students who require support from ABA therapists or Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) during camp activities.
Functional Behavior Assessment for ABA Support (Required)
A Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) is required prior to the initiation of ABA support services.
💲 Flat Rate: $750
The assessment includes:
Records review
Up to a 2-hour meeting with your Board-Certified Provider (face-to-face, telehealth, school meeting, phone meeting, etc.)
Written assessment and recommendations
Determination of support needs and staffing recommendations for camp participation
Additional assessment-related meeting time may be billed separately based on provider certification level.
ABA Service Rates
BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) - $125/hour
BCaBA (Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst) - $80/hour
RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) - $60/hour
ABA support services may be:
Billed through insurance (if student does not currently have an active authorization with another ABA provider)
Funded through scholarship-supported ABA services
Provided through self-pay arrangements
Support recommendations are determined individually through the intake and assessment process.
